Can't manage next week wife's treating me to a meal in Edinburgh for our 20th wedding anniversary. But COYR. Right Rampant here's the plan. On Saturday morning feign an illness. Get your ambulance driver mate to pick you up under blues and twos. He drops you at the Novar at opening time. Have a couple of pints there and somebody is bound to be going to the game, so cadge a lift, watch the mighty Rovers gub the Morton, back to the Novar Bar, buy the guy a half pint to go towards his petrol, stagger home and blame the hospital sedation for your unsteadiness. Tricky, but absolutely do-able  |
