Iain Murray has been sacked as manager of Raith Rovers.
Bust up after his post match interview? BBC Scotland stated on their live broadcast that there were rumours that he was on his way out last season!
Strange times.

Wonder what has been going on? He didn’t seem over concerned during his interview - yes he pointed out issues but surely surmountable at this stage of the season.
Very disappointing as I thought he was a decent prospect. Nobody is safe.

The board make it more than clear in their statement why - that results have not been acceptable since January 2024. Although none of os were calling for his sacking, could anybody really argue with that? When you read the comments here, post Airdrie, the mood seems to reflect that. How many times have we been left without adequate cover in key areas of the pitch - and for how long? In the post-match, IM shrugged off claims that we need or should get strikers. At least one team similar to us will go down this season and at least one team similar to us will go up. Personally I think IM could have been given a bit longer, but it was the board's decision.
