Unfortunately we live in a society where some spread rumours and post whatever the like on social media with no thought to the person/s it affects

I don't do X as it's now known having cancelled my account quite some time ago. However, I did pick up on comments made on the "other channel" at the weekend about Sam and other malicious rumour about the club, players, staff etc. I was absolutely livid reading that toxic mix of ill informed, irresponsible innuendo. I would suggest that a good bit of it was in the realms of being libelous. The original poster took the offensive post down within the hour and admitted to being hasty and in the wrong. The damage was done by then, as every "ITK" had already piled in!

I'm so pleased to read that Sam has called this out but I wonder how much damage has been done regarding his desire and confidence to perform to the highest level that he's so capable of. I know that if it was me on the receiving end I'd be mightily sad and hurt. There are more than a few in our fanbase that need a reality check and a long hard look at themselves!
If you read this please try to put this behind you Sam and give us all the pleasure of seeing you in action in the Rovers team for as long as you are contracted to.

Sad little Cowards who hide behind anonymity spewing out vile poisonous trash just to get something called a hit? This practice evades my understanding completely. These reptiles are totally oblivious to the havoc they leave in their wake, and the unfortunate outcome is usually pain and suffering for innocent people as Embow alludes to in his post. These beings would never deliver their misconstrued thoughts in person, no, these "brave little warriors" can only deliver their toxic malice behind some invisible identity hidden website. They then drop their pile of excrement and run away. Despicable actions of detestable people who are so thick, they cannot see how this might affect the performance of one of the star players in a team we all love, and they pretend to love.

Sam, I hope you do read this thread where all you will see is support for you and your family, and on a personal note, thanks for all your skilful efforts in a Rover's shirt. You are very much appreciated by all TRUE Rovers fans. None of whom would want to see you hurt in any way.

Embow, very good post, but I wonder if Sam reads Fantalk🤔 Hopefully,yes, but it does seem that he checks P & B ,so I wonder if you would consider re-posting on there? Just a thought ,which please feel free to ignore!
I just hate it that Sam and his family ( and, no doubt, friends) have been upset by these trolls and idiots and ,also, that he might leave The Rovers because of it , when, in fact , all true Raith fans are behind him and desperate to see him continue, happily, as one of our top players.( examples being on this thread)
I have never posted on the other channel myself ,as I dislike a percentage of the messages and tone, but I do scan it from time to time ,so I do know that you message on there.

Fair enough ,Embow, I take your point . Hopefully, Sam does read Fantalk and so is aware that we are all on his side.....If not, have to trust that waves of goodwill are being felt by him...and much more so on Saturday afternoon.

Same as Bad Press! Can their admin not do something about those keyboard warriors? It's libel. I hope Sam gets them traced and gets a solicitor onto them!

It was indeed on P&B ( "the other
channel" ) that I, too, read these accusations. Very much in agreement with your comments, castle, regarding Sam and the Livi game. A storming performance followed by a "bi-digital" salute ✌🏻 would not go amiss if it were me! 🫣😀
However, it's not me!
Sam on the other hand will be much too classy for such nonsense, even if he feels like that this is what it all merits.👍
