My son and I, like most ( all ?) Scotland fans were scunnered by the end of Scotland's part in the Euros. Games: Germany - embarrassing ; Switzerland- encouraging ,but a missed opportunity; Hungary - we went out with a whimper.
Sadly, after all the highs that he had given us, we felt that should be the end of the Steve Clarke era.
But we already had the Hampden Season Tickets for the Nations League , and I guess we would go along anyway, having supported the team through many down/ bad times. We've won promotion to Group A and have tough games , starting with Poland. I'd take a draw right now.

I can't get worked up about this one, Franco. Like you, my son and I are Tartan Army members - but unlike you, we haven't chased down tickets for any of the upcoming fixtures.
We both remain hopeful that a positive new chapter can begin, but need something to lift us. Will the fact that it looks like half the squad will be plying their trade in Serie A in the season ahead make a difference? That'd do it for us!

My son and I feel the same tbh, going tonight because we have the season tickets but the performance in the euros has knocked the stuffing out the country a bit. I went to the NI game before the tournament and we were just horrific. I feel Clarke has taken us as far as he can ( generally a success tbh) but can’t see him changing his style and would like Davie Moyes as next manager

Got a message saying it’s on STV Stream - what’s that? Their player like the BBC have iPlayer but it's on ITV4 anyway.

Awful start with Gunn letting a speculative shot in through the same soft hands which conceded the first goal against Germany. Why, oh why did Hanley barge into the Pole at the end to concede a penalty and throw away the game? In between there was a lot of good football played by Scotland and McTominay was outstanding. The willingness of Ben Doak to run at and take on opponents was exciting, he's a real crowdpleaser.
The irony was that everyone inside Hampden was delighted when 8 minutes added time was announced because we were on top and that, we thought, gave the team time to win the match.🙄
