I'll probably be watching it. But! ... purely out of morbid curiosity and through my fingers.🫣 I just hope that at least some of our journeymen turn up tonight and Clarke actually puts the players on to the park with a semblance of tolerable tactics. Who knows? I may actually end up elated with a fantastic result by 10pm and all the rubbish these last, goodness knows, how many games will be forgiven.🤞

Have a glass or two Embow to help either ease the pain or celebrate, I hope it's the latter.

Not quite relevant to the thread title but Hungary showing how difficult it would be if by any remote chance we needed a result against them. Germany not looking world beaters as they were against Scotland. But we already know why they looked like world beaters in the first game.🥺

dull selection again from Clarke, Ralston is out of his depth, the midfield looks leggy and we have little or no pace out wide. Can only see one outcome tonight.

What were the odds that two German speakers would be our top scorers?

Respect……. After the German debacle, this was a vast improvement.
The players showed guts and determination. Not a 3 point victory, but a moral victory for the players/ squad and they can hold their heads up with pride.
That said, Hungary have to be beaten for us to break the curse.
I will pray that mistakes are few and that Lady Luck shines on us. 🤞🤞🤞👍

Totally agree Cuparman. We rode our luck at times and didn't get some of the breaks, deflected goal aside. Draw probably a fair result overall. Still worried about our defence at times.

What were the odds that two German speakers would be our top scorers? UEFA have now credited McTominay with the goal.

Think it's terribly disingenuous of our pundits to assume we will beat Hungary, from what I have seen we will do well to get a draw against them. Whilst it was an improvement it was a very poor performance. Che Adams is useless up front on his own, our defence is a confidence sapped group that would be lucky to get starts for anything other than second tier sides. even Robertson looks devoid of confidence and ideas. I would rather we went at least 2 up front and went for the win in these games than just bent over and taken it. Then again, I would have figured out my best 11 and formation and played them in the friendlies rather than faff about 'giving guys a run out' they've been playing all season!

Ralston and Hendry were garbage and with Tierney now missing the defence is even worse. We have no real goal scorer in our side either. However, a terrific fighting performance and a cracking match to watch.

Massive improvement, mainly due to effort. We were playing a press rather than standing off them, like when we played the Germans.
We lost a poor goal but I don't think we should be hanging Ralston out to dry. 3rd choice for country, 2nd choice for club and has hardly played any games from the start over the last year.
On a side note, when the cameras zoomed in on crowd before KO, I saw Brian Graham who had his son on his shoulders. He was standing next to Allan Halliday who was there with his brother. I wonder if any other club officials are in Germany?
