Best of luck to the young man I felt he didn't really get a chance to show us what he was capable of, there again I don't see him every day at training so I could be very wrong and the manager very right.

I think McGill was probably a victim of his own versatility. He could do a job in several positions across the midfield and at full back but was never able to establish himself with us in any of the positions. He is a good, honest player and I hope he can find a role in the Dundalk team.

Interesting place to go, as the Irish Premier League is rated higher than the Scottish Championship (about 61st vs 117th). Hopefully a good indicator we’ve indeed crafted one of the better teams in the League. Good luck to a laddie, who did whatever was asked, did it pretty well, and never let a word of complaint be heard
